Flying Dash catches attention

Calcutta: Flying Dash, Bright And Clear, Brighter Future and Direct Access were impressive among the following horses seen exercising on Monday.

Outer sand track

800m: Flying Dash (Merchant) and Royal Command (Gurang) in 56s; (600m) 42s; (400m) 26s. Former moved well and finished 2 ls better. Smart Ruler (Yasin) and Far Hope (Merchant) in 58s; (600m) 42s; (400m) 27s. They were very easy as they spurted neck and neck. Bright And Clear (Yasin) and Magical Strike (Merchant) in 58s; (600m) 43s; (400m) 28s. Former, who was handy, finished a length better. Latter was urged. Secret Force (Merchant) and Raring To Go (Yasin) in 1-3s; (600m) 44s; (400m) 28s. They were easy while finishing together. El Cid (Merchant) and Discomatic (Gajender) in 1-0s; (600m) 44s; (400m) 28s. They moved fluently as they worked neck and neck.

600m: Brighter Future (Merch-ant) and Direct Access (Yadav) in 42s; (400m) 26s. They moved attractively as they spurted together. Alessio (Rabani) in 47s; (400m) 31s. Easy. Allodium (Rabani) in 46; (400m) 31s. Easy.

Sand track

800m: Star Cutter (Tamang) and Starina (Rb) in 1-1s; (600m) 46s; (400m) 29s. Former was a distance better and moved well.

Gate practice

1,200m (from 2000m to 800) Juneau (Shanker), Assured (Surender) and Calabar (Domingo) in 1-28s; (1,000m) 1-10s. All three jumped out well. Each was separated by a distance.
