Mizoram FA faces IFA complaint

IFA will lodge an official complaint against the Mizoram Football Association for providing substandard food and lodging facilities to the Bengal squad currently in Aizawl for the under-16 nationals. The IFA authorities informed that some of the players were taken ill after consuming food. The squad has henceforth decided to arrange for their own food and lodging, with IFA bearing the expenses. Bengal take on Mizoram on Wednesday.

Waterpolo meet

South Eastern Railway beat CSA 17-0 and Eastern Railway overcame Deccan Gymkhana 11-1 in the all-India invitation waterpolo tournament organised by the Calcutta Sports Association (CSA) at the Rabindra Sarobar on Tuesday. In another match, Central Railway held Bengal Amateur Swimming Association 6-6.

Hewlett Packard C and Tata International C won their matches in the Merchants’ Cup bowling meet on Tuesday.
