New Delhi: David Shepherd of England and South Africa’s Rudi Koertzen will stand in the two Tests of India’s home series against New Zealand. Sri Lankan Ranjan Madugalle will be the Match Referee, according to an ICC media release on Wednesday.
The first Test is scheduled in Ahmedabad from October 12-16, the second in Mohali from October 20-24.
In the tri-series that follows, involving New Zealand, Australia and the hosts, Madugalle will continue as Match Referee. Shepherd will also stay back and alternate with Englishman Neil Mallender as the neutral umpire in the ten ODIs. The home umpires will be announced later.
The round-robin matches of the tri-series will be held in Chennai, Gwalior, Faridabad, Mumbai, Pune, Cuttack, Guwahati, Bangalore and Hyderabad, while the final will be held in Calcutta. (PTI)
