BSNL freebies for subscribers

New Delhi, July 23: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd today announced a tantalising freebie-laced scheme to lure customers who opt for its CellOne and Excel connections from Thursday till Independence Day.

BSNL chairman and managing director Prithipal Singh said, “On the occasion of forthcoming Independence Day and festival season, BSNL will offer Rs 600 worth of free talk time under all our existing tariff plans. In addition, the existing scheme free talk time worth Rs 200 to subscribers who opt for an additional connection is applicable in a few states.”

Under the proposed scheme new CellOne subscribers will be given free talk time worth Rs 100 per month for six months. While the exiting BSNL landline subscribers will get this new connection at Rs 200, a non-BSNL landline subscriber will get this cellular connection at Rs 1,200 (including registration of Rs 1,000 which is refundable).

This scheme is valid on all existing plans — Plan 225, Plan 325, Plan 525, and the standard package.
