Football adda

The IFA’s Football adda, at a city hotel this afternoon was another of secretary Subrata Dutta’s ‘events’. A pot-pourri of anecdotes, wranglings, trifles, mushy music videos later, a consensus emerged that ways and means have to be found to develop and promote local talent.

Present were folks from different walks of life. They included P.K. Banerjee, Subrata Bhattacharya, Surojit Sengupta, P.C. Sorcar, actress Shatabdi Roy, actor Biplab Chatterjee, author Sishendu Mukhopadhyay, singer Subir Sen and others.

Dutta plans to promote the soccer craze in the city in every which he can. He has said that the profile of the sport has to be promoted.
