Karachi, July 17 (AFP): Twelve people were injured when a bomb exploded in a hospital in the southern Pakistani city of Hyderabad, provincial police chief Syed Kamal Shah said today, calling the incident a “terrorist act.”

The bomb exploded around 10 pm yesterday, shattering windows and sparking chaos in the surgical ward of the city’s Liaquat National Hospital. One of the injured was in serious condition, Shah said.
