TCS steals the show

New Delhi, July 17: Tata Consultancy Services has emerged as the front-runner clocking revenues of Rs 4,545 crore followed by Infosys Technologies at Rs 3,543 crore and Wipro Technologies with Rs 2,787 crore respectively.

The combined revenue of the top 20 software and service exporters in the area of IT services, products and technology services is Rs 20,746 crore ($ 4.3 billion) in 2002-03, up 18 per cent compared with the total combined revenues of Rs 17,607 crore in 2001-02.

The software and services exports industry (excluding the ITES-BPO sector), recorded revenues of Rs 34,800 crore ($ 7.2 billion) in 2002-03.
