Teenager held for murder

Hanskhali (Nadia), July 17: A teenage girl was arrested here last night for allegedly murdering a 10-year-old boy whose body was found on Wednesday in a village about 75 km from Calcutta.

Police said the girl, Tapashi (name changed), was last seen with the boy, Tanmoy Dhali, on Saturday, when he was returning from school. Tanmoy’s father Santosh filed a complaint with police after he failed to return home. He had told the police that Tapashi, who was allegedly having an affair with his daughter Nandita (name changed), could be behind his son’s going missing.
