Parryware eyes buyouts

Parryware, the sanitaryware division of EID Parry (India) Ltd, is looking forward to acquisitions in areas like plastic sanitary wares, ceramics and taps, a top executive of the company said. “The idea is to go in for acquisitions that suit our business plans, pricings and geographical strengths,” A. Vellayan, vice-chairman, EID Parry, said. “However we are not in a hurry,” he added. The company claims 38 share of the organised indian sanitaryware market.

Allianz Bajaj

Allianz Bajaj Life Insurance Company has reported a gross premium income of Rs 53.78 crore for the year 2002-03 with a total sum assured at Rs 3,976 crore. The first premium income stood at Rs 53.78 crore, while it issued 1.15 individual policies during the reporting year.

Tektronix tools

Tektronix has introduced network monitoring tools for operators in the GSM market, from where a majority of the company’s revenue is currently derived. The tools include Net-7 planet network planning software, Net-7 Irma and Net-7 monitoring system.

Satyam centre
