Birla Sabhagar; 11 am: Professor P. Lal reads of Bhima honouring Draupadi’s plea by pummelling Kichaka to death, followed by a repeat of the origin of the Mahabharata in the Adi Parva, in the 187th weekly session of the complete English transcreation of Vyasa’s Mahabharata.

July 13 at Swami Santdas Institute of Culture, Yogic College, 101, Southern Avenue: 10.30 am - 3 pm: On the occasion of Guru Purnima (ancient Indian Teachers’ Day celebration), special puja will be offered to Swami Santdas Maharaj. This will be followed by honouring Pragyanswaroop Brahmachari and Pavitra Gupta with Swami Santdas Memorial Award. July 13 at Kala Mandir; 5 pm: The devotees of Sri Gouranga Ashram celebrate the Holy Guru Purnima with a discourse by the Ashram’s President-Acharya, His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad 108 Tridandi Swami Sri Srimat Bhakti Sravan Tirtha Goswami Maharaj, and devotional songs by eminent artistes.
