Roads to avoid
Lower Circular Road, between Camac Street and Lansdowne Road, due to work on the AJC Bose Road flyover. Buses and minibuses heading towards Alipore zoo will take the Lansdowne Road-Elgin Road-Ashutosh Mukherjee Road-Chowringhee-Queensway-Hospital Road-Lower Circular Road route. Those travelling towards Beckbagan will take the Ashutosh Mukherjee Road-Hazra Road-Ballygunge Phari-Syed Amir Ali Avenue route.
Rathayatra
The Iskcon Rathayatra will start from CR Avenue, opposite Indian Airlines office, at 1.30 pm and proceed via Esplanade East and end on the Maidan. The Barisha Rathayatra will proceed from the Savarna Ray Choudhury residence in Behala at 4 pm and end at Bosepara. The Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Rathayatra will roll out from the Bhowanipore temple at 3.30 pm.
Open forum
