India lose to Germany

New Delhi, June 28 (PTI): India lost to Germany 2-3 in their second match in the four-nation hockey meet in Hamburg today.

According to information received here, Dilip Tirkey converted a penalty corner to put India ahead in 33 minutes. But the world champions scored through F. Kuntz in the 36th minute and K. Wein five minutes later.

Gagan Ajit Singh then scored a brilliant field goal to draw level in the 47th minute. Germany scored the winner in dying minutes.
