Wari elections

The impasse that followed the Wari AC election fracas remains. While the dissidents have rested their argument having named Arun Lal secretary, incumbent secretary Nani Chanda maintains the dissidents’ attempt was to “disrupt the Annual General Meeting Wednesday.”

The only ‘move’ by the ruling body Friday was in sending the minutes of Wednesday’s executive committee meeting and the copies of an FIR lodged against the dissidents, to the IFA, CAB and BHA. The FIR was filed by the club’s executive committee.

Schools’ regatta

South Point and Lake View set up a title-clash in senior boys category of their inter-school regatta at Rabindra Sarobar Friday.
