Karishma case

Calcutta, May 17: Sahara TV counsel Siddhartha Shankar Ray continued his argument in the high court today, contesting the plagiarisation charges levelled against the Sahara Manoranjan channel by Manhattan-based British author Barbara Taylor Bradford. He contested the copyright infringement charges and cited various differences between Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny and Bradford’s novel A Woman of Substance. The hearing will continue tomorrow.
