Chandigarh: Second seed Prakash Amritraj and No. 3 Vijay Kannan reached the final in the second leg of the ITF Men’s Satellite tournament Friday.
Amritraj was leading Mustafa Ghouse 6-4, 3-2 when the latter pulled out with a shoulder injury. Amritraj had won the first set comfortably even as Ghouse struggled with the injury.
In the other semi-final, Kannan faced little difficulty in defeating Febi Widhiyanto of Indonesia 6-4, 6-4. The final takes place Saturday. In the doubles final, Kannan and Saurav Panja got a walkover over Ghouse and Vishal Uppal. (PTI)
