The results of Madhyamik 2003, the state’s biggest school-leaving examination, are likely to be announced this weekend.
After a day-long meeting to discuss the final arrangements, sources in the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education said the results will probably be declared on Saturday, if preparations are completed by Thursday. Alternatively, the results will be out latest by June 18.
A senior Board official said another meeting will be held on Thursday to finalise the date of announcement of the results. The final date will be declared on Friday. Madhyamik 2003 was held in March. Nearly 600,000 examinees have taken the test.
