June 12 at Rabindra Sadan; 6 pm: Kalakhetram’s 18th annual programme features dance performances by the students of the institution: Kathak and Rabindra Nritya under the guidance of Subhasis Bhattacharya, and Odissi conducted by Susmita Bhattacharya.


June 11 at Kala Mandir; 6.30 pm: Anandalahari presents Rabindranather Pather Gaan to be rendered by Swastika Mukhopadhyay and Sougata Dhar Choudhury, both from Santiniketan. There will be 21 numbers (like Pather shesh kothay and Pathey jete dekechhile) of which three are to be sung in duet. Recitation (from Pathik and Pather bnadhan, etc.) and narration: Soumitra Mitra and Anupurba Roy. Instrumental music conducted by Rana Dutta. June 12 at Sisir Mancha; 6.30 pm: Rabiteertha Alumni Association hosts a musical evening to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Featuring Pramita Mallick, Ratna Biswas and Nataker Gaan by Rabiteertha Praktani. June 14 at Nehru Children’s Museum; 6.30 pm: Surey, Borney, Kavye — a musical programme featuring Dwijendrageeti, Atulprosadi, Rajanikata and Dilip Ray’s songs by Nupurchhanda Ghosh and her associates. June 13 & 14 at Bharatiyam IB- 201 Salt Lake; 6.30 pm: The Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre will screen films on art and culture every weekend. The line-up: June 13: Jatra (folk theatre of Bengal) and Bodhgaya; June 14: Moghul Tamasha and Dweep Mahotsav.


June 11 at Sisir Mancha; 6 pm: An evening of audio play, recitation and recital of verse-songs organised by Shilpi Jajabar. The programme features verse-songs by Pragyaparomita Roy, audio-drama Sanjhbaatir Roopkathara (direction: Swapan Ganguly), solo recitation by Reshmi Chowdhury and group recitation, Kathay Kathay Chhora (direction: Basudeb Nundy).

Till June 15 at Aikatan, Salt Lake: 10 am - 5 pm: EZCC will host a workshop on stone carving (on soft stones) for children between 10 years and 16 years.

June 12 - 21 at Sasha, 27 Mirza Ghalib Street; 10 am - 7 pm: End of Season Sale featuring a wide array of home linens, textiles and accessories, ready-to-wear items, scarves, bags, tableware and gift items will be inaugurated by Tanushree Shankar at 11 am.


June 14 at Sasha; 6 pm: Veteran filmstars Supriya Devi and Lalita Chatterjee will launch three new Rasa spices made by underzprivileged women. Well-known food aficionados from different professions will grace the occasion.
