10-1 shot lifts Epsom Derby
Fallon atop Kris Kin after the Derby win

Epsom (Agencies): Kris Kin, owned by Saeed Suhail, scored a decisive victory over The Great Gatsby, Alamshar, Norse Dancer and 16 other in the field to lift the Vodafone Epsom Derby at the Epsom downs Saturday.

An additional entry against a payment of £90,000, and only in the third start of its career, the Sir Michael Stoute-trainee fully justified faith reposed in it as jockey Kieren Fallon stretched it in the home run. Backed from 12-1 down to 10-1, Kris Kin bagged the winnerís purse of £850,000 from a total Derby Stake of £1,470,000.
