A walk organised by Taj Bengal will start from the hotel at 7.30 am. Sit-and-draw and other contests to promote green awareness at Mahadevi Birla School, from 9 am. An awareness camp, organised by United Nations Environment Programme, at the crossing of Elgin Road and Chowringhee from 10 am. Distribution of saplings and other programmes at Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, 10.30 am. FACE will take out a rally to raise environmental awareness from the Lakes to Gariahat, 9 am. A presentation on water by Centre for Built Environment at Academy of Fine Arts, 2 pm to 5 pm. A campaign against the use of plastic bags, organised by PUBLIC, will be launched in the Rabindra Sarobar area at 6.30 am.
