Bhubaneswar, June 1: Titlagarh recorded a 49.6 degrees Celsius today as heatwave continued to sweep the state, taking the toll past 100, reports our correspondent.
Officially, however, the number of deaths has been given as 10.
Talcher today recorded 47.1 degrees Celsius followed by Bolangir at 44.2 degrees.
The temperature in Rourkela touched 45.2 degrees Celsius and in Keonjhar, it was 41.6 degrees. Angul recorded 44.3 degrees Celsius, Chandbali 40.5, Dhenkanal 45.2 and Malkanagiri 46.5.
Bhubaneswar and Cuttack were comparatively cooler at 41.5 and 40.8 degrees Celsius.
