New Delhi, May 28: Deputy Prime Minister .K. Advani today re-allocated work among the three junior ministers serving under him in the home ministry, says our special correspondent.
Swami Chinmayanand will be in charge of border management, the Northeast, disaster management, freedom fighters’ rehabilitation and the ministry’s finance division.
I.D. Swami, the senior-most minister of state, will monitor Jammu and Kashmir as well as internal security, which includes police and forward policy planning. He will also look after human rights, police modernisation, Centre-state relations and the judicial division under the ministry. Harin Pathak will oversee the Union territories and the foreigners’ division. He is also in charge of the personnel and training department.
