Mumbai, May 21: Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) today announced that it has acquired Snuggy brand of diapers from Shogun Diapers Ltd, for an undisclosed amount.

“The acquisition of an established and recognised brand would help us enter the baby-care segment in India which is growing rapidly and has a high potential,” GCPL executive director and president Hoshedar K. Press said in a release here today. The acquisition is also part of GCPL’s plans to grow its topline, he added.
