Tolly approach Subrata

Calcutta, May 17: Sacked Mohun Bagan coach Subrata Bhattacharya has been offered the hot seat in Tollygunge Agragami for the forthcoming season. The vacancy in Tollygunge has been created following their last year’s coach, Aloke Mukherjee’s decision to take up the Mohun Bagan assignment.

Club officials informed that Subrata has been approached in this regard and the latter has asked for a couple of days to make up his mind.

Tollygunge have a couple of more names in their list for the coaching assignment — that of Krishnendu Roy and Chandu Roy Chowdhury. These options will be looked into if Subrata expresses his unwillingness to accept the job, officials said.

Meanwhile, Mohammedan Sporting have confirmed Hussain Mustafi and Habeeb Adenkule for one more season. The club has also succeeded in luring away striker Surjeet Singh from JCT.
