Calcutta, May 12: A businessman, Amit Dalmia (28), was killed when a steel cable pierced through his chest while he was driving along Camac Street late tonight.

The cable, being laid by a company, was jutting out of the road when Dalmia’s Zen ran into it. The accident took place near Shantiniketan Building.
