Crop hair, forget fee

London, April 10: Model Eva Herzigova is being refused a day’s fee of £20,000 by the lingerie company La Senza because it didn’t like her hair, according to a lawsuit.

It was not exactly a bad hair day... simply that her curls were cropped, in keeping with her work for Louis Vuitton, Burberry, the Gap and Alberta Ferretti.

The rule, it seems, is that if you’re posing in smalls, long blonde tresses are a provocative must. As a result, La Senza, which specialises in only the most “exquisite” knickers, decided not to use the photos.

The lawsuit, brought by Herzigova’s agency 1 Model Management, requires La Senza to pay the model’s fee, together with £399 for her hotel and a £4,000 agency commission.

Scott Lipps, president of the management agency, said: “Eva was contracted for a photo shoot, and she fulfilled her obligations of that contract. The client then refused to pay for the services she had provided.”

Czech-born Herzigova, 29, is the Wonderbra model who featured on billboards with the caption: “Hello boys!”

She was recently pictured looking pale and gaunt but said: “I’m certainly not the only model to have a rough day. People call me a supermodel, but that doesn’t make me superhuman.”
