New Delhi, April 9: Major aluminium companies, including Pechiney of France, Alcan of Canada, Kaiser Aluminium of Germany, Balco, Hindalco and Nalco, will participate in a three-day global meet to be held here between April 23-25.
The International Conference on Aluminium 2003 (Incal) assumes importance in the wake of a series of acquisitions and mergers taking place in the aluminium industry worldwide, including the government’s move to sell off Nalco.
The conference will be organised by the Aluminium Association of India (AAI). It will invite primary and secondary producers, researchers, academicians and end-users.
Incal 2003 will focus on sustainable growth in the context of aluminium being the ‘Metal of the Future’.
