Fuel pump protest
Car owners beware, 317 petrol pumps in the city and another 1,200 across the state will observe a day of ‘no sale, no purchase’ to press for a seven-point charter of demands. The West Bengal Petroleum Dealers’ Association, however, held out hope of a sole pump, at the crossing of AJC Bose Road and Shakespeare Sarani, remaining open on Friday.
The silver jubilee celebrations of National Council of Science Museums will be inaugurated at Birla Industrial & Technological Museum at 3 pm.
