Electrolux rights issue soon
New Delhi, April 2: Electrolux today said it is planning to come out with a rights issue soon. “We see India as a growing market. We are planning to come out with a rights issue. We need to create a base and a structure that we can build on, because we think we have a lot to offer in India,” Johan Bygge, senior executive vice president of Electrolux said. He, however, did not divulge the size of the proposed rights issue saying “it will be a fairly sizeable one.”
Mascot plan
Mumbai, April 2: Mascot Systems Ltd, an offshore software services company, has proposed to acquire the contact centre and facility management business of Delhi-based IT&T Ltd for Rs 21.17 crore. The acquisition of contact centre for Rs 18.88 crore ($ 3.95 million) would bring in 400 employees, equipment and intellectual property into Mascot’s fold.
