DRAMA CONTEST

Till March 22 at Bijon Theatre; 6.30 pm: To mark the completion of its 30 years, Sayak organises a full-length drama competition. Featuring Nityapuran by Nairik on 19th, Swaad by Ritwik on 20th, Ushnabhumi by Suhrid on 21st, and Nagar Kotyal by Bengali Association Bhopal on 22nd. Judges: Samik Bandyopadhyay, Harimadhab Mukhopadhyay and Indrasis Laharry.

March 19 at ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Tollygunge; 6 pm: Vocal recital by Kaushiki Chakrabarty, accompanied by Samar Saha (tabla) and Jyoti Goho (harmonium). March 20 at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Vivekananda Hall, Gol Park; 6 pm: A violin duet recital (western classical and global music) by Deb Sankar and Jyoti Sankar, accompanied by Sankar Chatterjee (piano), Goutam Shome (keyboard), Sarabindu Roy, Ratul Shankar and Somnath Roy (percussion).
