CISF marks Raising Day

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport celebrated its 34th Raising Day at Narayanpur, near the airport, on Monday. Fourteen CISF personnel, including four women, were rewarded for meritorious service. Also, commanded by Bal Kishen, the CISF completed a year of its existence at the airport on February 1. According to the CISF, this period saw no incident of theft or security lapse. “This has helped improve security at the airport,” said an Airport Authority of India (AAI) officer.
