March 8 at Madhusudan Mancha; 6 pm: Kalyani Natyacharcha Kendra presents Nokshi Kanthar Maath (Verse narrative: Jasim Uddin; Direction: Goutam Halder) and Barne Badyey Kabyey Geetite Goutam Halder (a folk musical programme performed by Goutam Halder and assisted by Swatilekha Sengupta). MUSIC

March 7 at Max Mueller Bhavan; 6.30 pm: Max Mueller Bhavan, in collaboration with Calcutta School of Music, presents a musical evening, Anarchic Harmonies. Participants: Stefan Hussong (acordian) and Mike Svoboda (trombone). Featuring works by composers Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583 -1643) and John Cage (1912-1992) March 9 at Rabindra Sadan; 6.30 pm: Baitalik presents a solo recital of Tagore songs by Debarati Som and Tagore’s Nabin.

March 7 at Kala Mandir; 6.30 pm: Nandanik Manipuri Dance Academy presents its inaugural performance, Sama — The Harmony of Life — a universal vision of harmony portrayed through the fusion of two classical dance styles, Manipuri and Odissi. Conceived and designed by Poushali Chatterjee in collaboration with Aloka Kanungo.
