Subhankar ton Sub-jr meet Mixed meet Gourav wins

l East Bengal and Mohun Bagan posted victories in the A.N. Ghosh Trophy Tuesday. While East Bengal beat Aryan by ten wickets, Mohun Bagan beat Kalighat by 58 runs.

l East Zone were 283 for six at stumps on Day I of the Vizzy Trophy semi-final against North Zone at ECDSC. Subhankar Das (104) and Ayan Nandy (71) featured in a 161-run second-wicket partnership.

lSLAB and Ashok Malhotra CCC won their matches in the sub-junior cricket meet organised by Sinthee Corus. While SLAB beat Deshabandhu Park by 164 runs, Ashok Malhotra CCC beat the same team by 103 runs.

Road race

lA three-mile road race for men organised by Belgharia Deshapriya Krira Sanstha will be held on Sunday. It will start from Nandan Kanan, D.P. Nagar Bazar.

lRPG and Hyatt moved into the main pool finals of the mixed mercantile basketball championship at Rangers Club. While RPG beat ITC 45-16, Hutch beat Hyatt 20-15.

l Gourav Das and Sudip Bhattacharya won their first-round matches in the Lalit Mitra memorial badminton championships. In the girls’ section, Amrita Mukherjee and Pallavi Sengupta eased into the third round.
