Maputo: Two Mozambican swimmers have been killed in a car accident near the southern border with Swaziland, state-television TVM reported on Sunday.

Tania Anacleto, her husband Reginaldo and their son, were burnt to death late Saturday when their car suddenly caught fire. TVM said the fire was caused by a short circuit. Tania and Reginaldo have represented Mozambique including the Olympic Games.
