Auckland, Feb. 8 (AP): Opener Belinda Clark became the highest run-getter in women’s ODI history when she helped Australia to a 109-run victory over New Zealand in the final of the inaugural World Series at Christchurch on Saturday.

Australia reached 214 and dismissed New Zealand for 105 in 30 overs. Clark made 80, surpassing New Zealander Debbie Hockley’s record of 4,064 runs.
