MCC kills ‘spies’

Patna, Feb. 8 : Members of the banned Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) clubbed two villagers to death following a verdict in a kangaroo court in Gaya district last night.

Gaya superintendent of police Ravindran Shankaran told The Telegraph that the MCC had organised a jan adalat in Pipra in which two persons were accused of spying for the police.

The MCC served a death sentence on both.

The two were then taken to a jungle where they were beaten with sticks. Their bodies were dumped near the Pipra block office, the police said.

A hunt has been launched for the accused.
