What to do this weekend

Tune in to Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, accompanied by Ustad Sabir Khan, Pandit Anindya Chattopadhyay, Tanmoy Bose and Subhankar Banerjee, at Kala Mandir through the night, 10 pm onwards, for a Desh Parampara show. Attend discussions at the Desh pavilion at the Book Fair at 5.30 pm. While Partha Ghosh and others talk of ‘Cloning and the future’ on Saturday, Sunil Gangopadhyay and others speak on ‘Know Bengali to know the world’ on Sunday.

Music and dance

Tap to the rock-jazz fusion of Jonas Hellborg and Shawn Lane at Someplace Else, 9 pm. Be there at a dance drama presented by Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy at Rabindra Sadan, 6 pm. Aparna Sen will be chief guest.
