Anand maintains lead

Wijk Aan Zee (The Netherlands), Jan. 25 (PTI): World Cup champion Viswanathan Anand settled for a 13-move draw with Russian Alexander Grischuk on Saturday to maintain his half point lead after Round 11 of the 65th Corus Chess tournament here.

Hungaryís Judit Polgar continued to breathe down Anandís neck with another draw while local star Loek Van Wely beat BrainGames champion Vladimir Kramnik of Russia.

Anand is on 7.5 points, and following Polgar is Van Wely, on 6.5.

In the Grandmaster B tournament, Koneru Humpy, after a draw against Nijboer, took her tally to 4 points.
