Australia wrap up series

Melbourne, Jan. 25 (Reuters): Australia won the one-day tri-series when they won the second of the best-of-three finals beating England by five runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground Saturday.

Set a modest 230 to win after Australia had made 229 for seven, England faltered against more fine fast bowling by Man-of-the-Match Brett Lee and were dismissed for 224 in 49.3 overs.

England, thrashed by 10 wickets in the first final, looked in a better position when Michael Vaughan and Alec Stewart were batting.
