Corp Bank, AllBank in ATM pact

Corporation Bank and Allahabad Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for sharing of their automated teller machine (ATM) network. Corporation Bank has the second largest network of ATMs among public sector banks in the country, K. Cherian Varghese, chairman and managing director of the bank, said. The bank has installed 317 on-line inter-connected ATMs from Jammu to Thiruvananthapuram and Mehsana to Calcutta. It plans to reach 500 by this financial year-end, he added.

Sonata watches

Sonata has introduced a range of exclusive water-resistant watches in fibre. The watches are water-resistant up to 30 metres and are priced between Rs 305 and Rs 630.

JP Mobile

JP Mobile India Limited has announced an agreement with Nokia to make its SureWave software available on the in-box CD shipped with every Nokia 9290 Communicator.

Orange service

Orange, mobile phone service provider, has introduced a SMS-based lottery, Mobile Lotto. The Lotto was provided through an alliance with Xius and its associate companies E-Labs and Cibernet India, who have tied up with Playwin Infravest Ltd.

Baidyanath offer

Baidyanath Chyawanprash is offering 25 Hazamyum tablets free with 225 gm Baidyanath Kesari Kalp and 50 gm Baidyanath Madhu free with 450 gm Kesari Kalp.
