January 22 at Netaji Bhavan, 38/2 Lala Lajpat Rai (Elgin) Road; 6 pm: On the eve of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 106th birth anniversay, Netaji Research Bureau hosts the Netaji Oration 2003, to be delivered by Arjun Appadurai (son of S.A. Ayer, Cabinet minister in Netaji’s Provisional Government of Azad Hind, and William K. Lanman Jr Professor of International Studies, Yale University) on In My Father’s Nation.
