Karachi: Pakistan’s cricket authorities will sign a six-month contract with Australian bowling coach Daryl Foster later this week, they said on Wednesday.
The PCB will enlist his services for the World Cup, and for its cricket academy programme.
“Foster will assist the Pakistan team bowlers in the World Cup and after that return to Pakistan to work with the academies programme,” PCB official Samiul Hasan said. “He is coming to Lahore this week to sign the contract on Saturday. He will join the team in South Africa.”
It will be the third time Foster, a recognised veteran bowling coach in Western Australia, has been signed up by the Pakistanis.
