Lanka tumble twice in a day

Adelaide: Australia A handed Sri Lanka a humiliating 10-wicket defeat on Tuesday, bundling the touring side out for 65 in a one-day match.

Australia A notched up the runs in 11.5 overs and fans asked for a bonus match. In the 25 overs per side match that followed, Australia A scored 171 all out in 23.0 overs including 81 in 59 balls from opener Andrew Symonds. In reply, Sri Lanka made 146 for eight in 25 overs.

Earlier, in the first match, four Sri Lanka batsmen were out for a duck, all rounder Ian Harvey taking three wickets for two runs. Tillekeratne (11) was the only Sri Lanka batsman to reach double figures.
