City house looted

Calcutta, Dec. 30: Armed criminals tonight broke into the two-storeyed house of Tarak Naskar in Pailan ó close to Thakurpukur which witnessed a dacoity on Saturday night ó and looted cash and valuables worth thousands of rupees.

Tarak and his brother, Basudev, were visiting relatives when the criminals struck.

As in Thakurpukur, criminals broke open the door and window of the house in New Manís Park with iron rods and bamboo sticks. They ransacked the place and left after 40 minutes. The Naskar brothers returned home to find their house looted and telephoned Bishnupur police station.
