Chennai: Digvijay Singh carded a six-under 64, to lead at the end of the first round of the third leg of the Royal Challenge Grand Prix at the Gymkhana golf course here Thursday.

Teeing off from the ninth, Meerut pro Digvijay birdied the 11th and the 13th, before dropping a stroke on the 17th.

D. S. Raghuvanshi and Sanjay Kumar carded three-under 67 and follow the leader.

Raghuvanshi was five under after the first five holes but slipped thereafter.

Jumman, Firoz Ali, S. Murthy and V. Arumugam are tied at fourth at two-under 68.
