Afghan teachers

Kanpur, Dec. 24 (PTI): Teachers from Afghanistan will be provided training at schools of the Delhi Public School Society, its chairman Narendra Kumar said here today.

They would be trained in batches of 25 at its schools in Delhi, he said. This follows a request from the external affairs ministry in this regard, he added.

Kumar said the society plans to open a school in Kabul next year. Three Delhi Public Schools will also come up in the US, he said.

The society runs 112 schools in India and abroad. He said the society had plans to start satellite-based education system.
