FDI worth Rs 46 cr cleared

New Delhi, Dec. 24: Mauritius-based Covanta Energy India’s Rs 20-crore proposal for issuance of fresh shares in Great Eastern Energy Corp was among the 22 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals worth Rs 46 crore approved by the government. The proposals were cleared by commerce and industry minister Arun Shourie on the recommendations of the FIPB.
