Stalemate continues

PLAYER TERMS

Calcutta: The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) World Cup Contracts’ Committee had yet another tele-conference Monday, but this stalemate over the Player Terms continues.

“Where the conflict is concerned, status quo remains,” a well-placed source told The Telegraph late in the day. Incidentally, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya is a member of this special committee.

With the stalemate continuing, all the attention is now on the BCCI’s EGM in the city Wednesday.
