Mamata stable

Calcutta, Dec. 10: A day after she was admitted to a city nursing home with complaints of chest and neck pain, Trinamul Congress leader Mamata Banerjee was said to be stable.

“However, she has been kept under observation,” a spokesman for the clinic said. Mamata’s car was hit by a bus in Salt Lake on Sunday but she escaped unhurt. However, she complained of pain last night.

Accompanied by aides Krishna Chakraborty, Sonali Guha and Subrata Bakshi, she got herself admitted to the clinic. Nayana Banerjee did not accompany her, as was erroneously reported yesterday.
