All roads from Howrah and Sealdah stations and Birla Planetarium to Rani Rashmoni Road from 1 pm. Bangiya Christiya Parishad will bring out rallies.

Rights rally

A cultural programme and ‘Maitree’ rally, organised by Swayam, to mark World Human Rights Day. The rally starts from Biren Roy Road-James Long Sarani crossing and ends at Thakurpukur market. From 2 pm to 6 pm.

Music

A recital by Ipshita Sinha, a student of Carmel High School, and a performance by the Purulia Chhau Dance Party, on the concluding day of the month-long cultural bonanza, Virasat 2002, organised by Spicmacay. At Kala Kunj, from 5.30 pm.

Anjan Dutt will perform his first English album Bandra Blues along with his band, interspersed with poems by Sharmila Roy, at Emami Landmark, 6.30 pm.
