Chased truck runs over 2
Two persons on a bicycle were killed this afternoon when a sugar cane-laden lorry, driven recklessly as police chased it allegedly to collect a bribe, ran over them on NH 34 in Behrampore town. The traffic policeman at Behrampore bus stand allegedly demanded the bribe, saying the truck was carrying cargo over the permissible limit.
